New Curriculm

                                                             New School Curriculum
       If I could add a class to our school curriculum, it wold be a sociology class. I think Sociology is an important class that should be taken by all high schools because of its impact on our everyday life. Sociology is the study of human behavior, development, and organization. Sociology can be a half year course and than the other half would be an anthropology. Anthropology is the study of humankind for both past and present.


         My class would be take place Monday afternoon, after lunch. It would meet once a month to discuss current events and other things that effect society. Society is always changing so the class would change according to what is going on in the world.  The class would be oral, requiring a lot of class discusses, presentations, and PowerPoint. The class would be noisy with debates on issues being discusses. Debates would range from anything to economics to various law cases. My class would take a field trip to the Bergen Country courtroom if possible. Overall, my class would talk about topics that they feel strongly about.
