September 11 is a very significant day in American history. It was a day that will never be forgotten by anyway who witnessed it. September 11 made many Americans feel very vulnerable, unsafe, and confused. After the first flight was hijacked, Americans came together as a whole. The events of the day shocked many people to the point, that they were unsure of the next couple of days. A majority of Americans went to sleep on September 11 th, not knowing what the future held.
September 11th is not only a significant day for Americans but for me. After the events of September 11, I noticed that Americans truly came together as a country. The quote,".. united we stand divided we fall" really hit home after September 11.
